Montgomery Tree Service LLC carries on the legacy of Montgomery Tree Surgery, founded in 1931 by Coy Montgomery. Coy’s son Jim, followed by John, then Peter, each stewarded the business through the generations with hard work and dedication. Today, it lives on through Hudson Montgomery—a fifth-generation arborist, ISA Certified, and passionate about continuing the family mission of caring for trees and serving others.

Montgomery Tree Service LLC is more than a tree company—it’s a family legacy. Our roots go back to 1931 when Coy Montgomery started Montgomery Tree Surgery right here in Ohio. Over the years, the business was passed down through the hands of Coy’s son Jim, then John, followed by Peter, and now to me.

As a fifth-generation ISA Certified Arborist, I carry that legacy forward with a passion for trees and a commitment to serving others through honest, reliable work.

I started Montgomery Tree Service LLC to continue our family’s tradition—not just of great tree work, but of treating people right, showing up when we say we will, and doing the job the way it’s supposed to be done—safe, clean, and thorough.
